How Deel pays out
Deel holds your contractor balance in US dollars and pays it out to the method you choose, including a US-dollar bank account through its Bank transfer option. That is the route contractors use where Deel can’t pay a local bank directly.

Get paid
Every payout lands as dollars in a balance only you control — Poplin can’t spend, move, or freeze your balance.
Good to know: The account name must match your Deel profile, and Deel’s methods, fees, and availability vary by country.
Why not just use a local bank?
Local bank / no US account
- Converted to local currency at a marked-up rate
- A US company or US bank needed, for most USD payouts
- No dollar balance — money lands already converted
Get paid into Poplin
- Paid in dollars — you convert when you choose
- An identity check at signup — no US company, no US bank
- A dollar balance in your own name and control

Getting paid by Deel — FAQ
Setup Can I add my Poplin account to Deel?
Yes. Your Poplin USD account details include a US account number and routing number. In Deel, add them as a US bank (ACH) withdrawal method.
Eligibility Do I need a US company or US bank to get paid by Deel?
No. You can open a Poplin USD account in your own name from 225 countries with no US company and no US bank, then use it as your Deel payout method.
Speed How long do Deel payouts take to arrive?
An ACH credit is available in your Poplin account the next business day or sooner once Deel releases it — that speed is set by the ACH network, not Poplin. Before that, Deel has its own processing time, which can run several business days, so its payout schedule is the timeline to check.
Payouts Can I get paid from Deel in a stablecoin?
Yes. Deel also has a stablecoin payout, which Poplin can accept — useful if you want dollars without a bank in the middle. Deel charges a service fee plus a network fee for it, so check its current withdrawal fees before you choose. See the Accept payments page for how Poplin receives it.
Cost What does it cost to get paid from Deel into Poplin?
There’s no fee to open or hold a Poplin account. Receiving is 0.5% for business and 1% for personal, plus a fixed fee on USD ($0.50) and AED ($5.00) — the full schedule is on our pricing page. Deel’s own withdrawal fees are separate.
